The aim of the club is to build and run LEGO trains within LEGO scenery, for our own enjoyment, and that of others. The club doesn't own any LEGO bricks, so the members provide all the raw materials themselves. Our modular baseboard system is working well, with three members having built 11 modules so far, and another two members likely to have built a further four in the near future. See the modules page.
Models range from 'out of the box' sets, through reconstructions of old sets and specialist kits to full-blown models of real-life prototypes.
At the moment, meetings are arranged informally, and take place in members' homes.
Having exhibited at a couple of shows, we now have an idea of what we can achieve. We are looking for new venues for next year, and we have one event left in our diary for this November. See our events page.
